Sidewords

I read a lot.  I also forget a lot.  Stupid brain, it doesn’t function exactly like a hard drive.  So in general, to help me remember, if I have a book in my hand, I also have a pen (or if I’m holding a tablet, I know how to use the notetaking/highlighting features.)  This blog grows from the notes I make in the margins of physical pages and from the emails I send myself through the processing chips, cables, and ether that is cyberlandia.  It gets me the tiniest bit closer to having a brain that really does function like an external hard drive, one that’s searchable and organized in a way my real brain will never be.
